SEO, Web Design and Online Marketing WILL Change…
SEO is not dead… Despite all of the changes in the industry, there’s nothing new or different.
The key to making the right decisions about your SEO strategy is to understand where Google and the other search engines are going. The goal is that when someone creates a new search, the result shown to that person is exactly what the person wants or needs with no hesitation or thinking involved. To lose sight of this goal would be the death of Google (and the other search engines) – that’s why they employ a few thousand PhDs.
Each time there is an algorithm update, you’ll hear people announce the end of SEO and consider these updates as a negative. Don’t fall into that trap. If you’re the best at what you do, these algorithm updates are opportunities to separate yourself from your competition. Those who were engaging in publishing poor quality content or spammy tactics to get backlinks are going to drop in the rankings. If you’ve been focusing on creating content that provides real value to your audience these updates will help you rise above the competition and you won’t need to change a thing.
